PADI Drift Diver
Dive comfortably in the most challenging conditions
The PADI Drift Diver course will introduce you to the most fun way to move underwater that you can experience. By using the current, you will be able to glide underwater, focusing only on the beautiful views and controlling your buoyancy.
Some of the best dive sites in the world have underwater currents. The currents carry food – plankton, which attracts fish and larger pelagic fish, making dive sites where the currents occur vibrant places to dive in.
Currents can be intimidating for divers at first due to their unpredictability and the natural instinct to fight against them. Sometimes it is difficult to find the dive enjoyable when you unexpectedly get caught in fast-moving current without any preparation. Staying together with your buddy, communicating, surfacing and making safety stops becomes more challenging. The PADI Drift Diver course will prepare you for this new type of diving so you can fully enjoy the activity of drifting.
